 Q & A Service

Our consortium provides a Questions & Answers service, providing information to SMEs in order to provide them with information on EU polices, Turkey's accession process and the resulting changes in local legislation and business environment. The centre also helps SMEs in their internationalization efforts. In this perspective, we provide local information to foreign SMEs and offer foreign market data to local enterprises which contact us with questions and inquiries.

Awareness Raising Events and Seminars

Throughout the year, we organize many events training seminars, panels and workshops on different topics which are relevant to problems faced by SMEs. Seminars are focused on bringing internationalization skills to SME employees (seminars on matters pertaining to foreign trade), as well as on EU policies and the way the processes related to Turkey's accession to the European Union affects the business world.

First hand market information and company contact data

Being a local organization that is built within the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce - the most important Chamber of Industry in Turkey, our Centre is able to provide first hand local information on the Turkish market and industry to foreign enquirers, while making the best of the EEN network in order to gather market data on other European regions to the benefit of local enterprises. Furthermore, our Center provides target market potential data and charts based on ITC's international trade data, as well as lists of potential cooperation partners in countries which our customers are interested in.

Business Cooperation

The Business Cooperation Database: As part of the EEN network, our consortium has access to the Business Cooperation Database, a database of business cooperation offers and requests established by the European Commission in order to foster cooperation and trade between SMEs across Europe. Accessed regularly by more than 600 organizations mostly across Europe, the database holds more than 3.000 firm profiles that can be searched and retrieved. Furthermore, our consortium thus holds a database of Turkish firms offering cooperation in different fields - ranging from commercial or financial to technical cooperation.

Dissemination of business cooperation offers to local companies. Cooperation offers which are sent to our consortium via the Business Cooperation Database or by companies directly through other channels such as email are disseminated through our website and mailing immediately. Often cited among one of the foremost websites for cooperation offers, our web site dispatches alerts to more than 10,000 members daily.

B2B Events

Local entrepreneurs are brought together with visiting delegations and foreign company representatives in B2B events organized by our consortium. These events, generally prepared with a focus on chosen sectors, and aim at providing an environment where that companies can get involved in sustainable partnerships rather than one-shot trading.
